Met My Daughter!
Back in June I let you all know that I had found, and was corresponding , with my birth daughter. Well, after many months, we finally met, face to face !!! It was so wonderful! We allready knew so much about each other, that we were totally comfortable. I took my youngest with us, as she couldn't wait to meet her sister. It was a dream come true! Of course, the camera came with us, and I can't wait to have the pictures of my two daughters, together. All the months of waiting, all the years of not knowing , paid off immensly in one night at the Olive Garden!
My youngest, on the way home, asked me if I cried more when I had her, or when I had her sister. I explained that I cried the same, for both, but for different reasons. I told her that when she was born I cried because she was so perfect and I wanted her so much. And , that when her sister was born , I cried because I knew I couldn't keep her. She wanted to know why God would let me have a baby to make me so sad. I told her because God knew there was a mommy that was even more sad because she couldn't have any children. I told her that by doing what I did, and praying for eighteen years, God ahd rewarded us with letting us meet! God Bless all of you, searching, and please pray, it does pay!Share your story and read more stories.
