My Birth Daughter and Best Friend

I wanted to share my story in regards to my lovely precious 20-year-old birth daughter.

Back in 1981 my parents along with my girlfriends parents decided for us that it would be in our best interest to give our baby up for adoption being that we were only 15. In September of 2001 Amanda made contact her birth mother through this site. They are establishing a wonderful relationship. After one month Amanda felt it was time to meet me.

I will try summing this up the best I can……

There wasn’t a day that went by that I didn’t wonder about my first birth daughter. The feeling that I got when I was reunited with her 9 months ago can’t be described with words. She is by far the most incredible person on the face of the earth. Even though I haven’t met her parents yet I love them so much for providing Amanda with such a wonderful upbringing. I will never ever try to replace her parents, they are irreplaceable. I will always respect them and their wishes.

In closing I just wanted to say that I love Amanda more than anything on the face of the earth. Amanda is the most appreciative person I have ever met. She thanks Pam and I every day for giving her life. She has 2 brothers and 1 sister that absolutely idolize her. She is part of our family now and always will be.

Amanda thank you so much for keeping me in your dreams the last 20 years. The last nine months have been the best days of my life. I love you so much and always will. You are my best freind. You and I know that we will be together forever. AMANDA you mean the world to me!!!!!
