My Reunion
Today is December 8th, and I met my mother today. I was really nervous, but I got through it. I'm happy to say that she and I look just alike. I met my two brothers, and my sister on December 6th.
I was nervous then too. However, it's something I have always wanted to do, and I am thrilled that I did. I now feel whole. I had a great childhood, my parents treated me no different than my adoptive brother and sister. I am happy that my biological mother was looking out for my best interest by giving me up for adoption. Nineteen years later, I have a second family to spend Christmas with, and I am so very excited that I can. The kicker is that my sister found me. I can now say I feel complete.Share your story and read more stories.
