Reunited!

I called my daughter, she returned my call immediately, and one of the first thing she said was, "Thank you, thank you for giving me birth, I always knew you loved me! I have wonderful parents, who also feel the same, who knew you loved me." It is precisely what every birthmother wants to know. And then some, am I right!

She and I have talked further, have emailed, and are taking things slowly. Following the advice of editorials I am letting her set the pace. It is so hard, because I do want to embrace her. We've exchanged photos and her face is my face! We have so much in sync that it is beyond incredible, truly a dream come true.

Children's Home Society did not release information to either of us, and we both have Consent For Contact forms in our file. It has been a long search (15 years), and they will have to answer as to why they broke California Law.

Most importantly, we have found each other, and that is the foremost issue. Never give up hope, keep going on. Always.
